The MAKITA ADBL1840BDC1 Outdoor Adventure Lithium-Ion battery and charger pack contains a 18 Volt 4 Amp-Hours battery and a rapid optimum charger. Battery can be recharged fully in just 40 minutes and provides 35% more runtime. LED light indicates the charge level of the battery that helps the user to monitor better. STAR protection control mechanism helps in the prevention of overloading, overcharging and overheating. As this battery offers good resistance to self-discharge to help in long periods of storage of time.

The MAKITA ADBL1840BDC1 Lithium-Ion chemistry delivers optimum runtime even in extreme cold temperatures for up to -4 degree F. Outer case has an impact-resistant construction and the inner liner safeguards the battery. 16 contact terminals are provided helps in maintaining a constant connection with the operating tool even in high vibration applications. The charger makes use of a built-in chip to constantly communicate with the battery to monitor the voltage, current and temperature. Integral fan of the charger circulates air through the battery to keep it cool and enhances the charging time.
