Circular saw features a powerful Makita built electronically controlled motor that delivers 3700 RPM for rapid cutting and ripping. Compact tool has a large cutting capacity of 2-1/4 Inch at 90 degree and maximum bevel capacity of 50 degree. MAKITA XSS02Z is engineered with a heavy gauge, precision machined aluminum base for smooth, accurate cutting and longer endurance. Saw is specially designed for any pro contractor, who requires a best-in-class engineered cordless saw for a wide range of cutting tasks such as roofing, carpentry, remodeling, wood working and many more. Flat motor housing design of tool assures increased stability when changing the blade. On-board blade wrench ensures increased convenience for operator on the job. Tool is fitted with rubberized soft grip handle for enhanced operator comfort. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The MAKITA XSS02Z comes with a 6-1/2 Inch x 5/8 Inch TCT saw blade for a range of cutting applications. It works well with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol.
